Tomorrow is my 5th chemo session, the penultimate one. Before the infusion, I am given a steroid through an IV, Dexamethasone, given to reduce the severity of fluid retention and allergic reactions. But tomorrow we are trying something different, I will take it orally before I turn up to the chemo cafe, as well as the IV since I have been having awful allergic reactions. (fingers crossed this will help.)
