We crave a leader with altruism
Yet we elect wannabee despotism
It’s out the doors with liberalism
Shut them tight with nationalism
Blame it all on socialism
I’ve got a lot in my pot
Better make sure you touch it not
Even though you don’t have a lot
Chances are that you ain’t got
The basics that the most enjoy
The skills that are needed to employ
Of color, gender and your skin
You fight much harder just to win
Our freedom say we must not lose
Except for a woman’s right to choose
Liberty and justice for all!
Ignore all those behind the wall
The Earth emits a painful shrill
We say “drill baby drill”
In science we will shall not believe
In economists we shall not believe
In wisdom we shall not believe
In truth we shall not believe
In virtues we shall not believe
From him instead we shall receive
What we deserve and what we need
