When I was in my teens, I got myself a part time job servicing swimming pools alongside the tech. When I retired in Apri, I took on the maintenance of my pool saving myself a few bucks, and I have the time and the know-how. Today I replaced the filter which had not been done in a while (my bad.) The filter and sediment were disgusting to say the least. An hour or two later, out of the corner of my eye I noticed that the flow of water was clearly visible (which had not been,) and the ripples on the surface produced a smile and sense of satisfaction.

This prompted me to recall the concept of flow* which was a topic of discussion at work just before I retired.

How much better can we perform when our mind is clean following a methodical process of cleansing our thoughts and discarding what is useless baggage? When we submit to the will of the universe? Things flow as they are intended, peace and tranquility follows. How’s your flow?

One response to “Flow”

  1. Discarding the baggage and taking the work out of workflow is something I haven’t achieved. Well done you.
