My grandson Emlin José; what can I say?
Full of beans full of dreams
Wise beyond those six short years
Tackling all those little fears a little boy just comes across
He’s the center he’s the boss
He’s a whirlwind he’s a spark he is funny he’s a lark
A sweeter young man you could not find innocent inquisitive and kind
A smile to kill and presence to thrill conversation is his skill
He teaches me much he teaches me Dutch
But best of all we have a bond in each other we are fond
We like to do things together when we can
The young one and the old man
His potential is immense perhaps he’ll be an influence
And I wonder what in time he’ll be
I wonder what’s his destiny
I know from what he demonstrates it will be good it will be great
My life is so enriched by you and all the crazy things you do
