Who was sent to be your guide?

Were there virgins greeting you?
Did you meet ancestors elated?
Were you resurrected through?
Or instead reincarnated?

You were blessed with a long life
A strong and very able dude
Managed to stay out of strife
A no nonsense attitude

That’s what I did learn from you
To be strong and not complain
Be yourself and always true
Always master your domain

If you are out there somewhere
Please put in a word for me
My circumstances you can share
And from this cancer set me free
