Irony

Irony is working against me
And irony wants to bring me down
Oh, now I know what makes this man
With all the love that his heart can stand
Dream of ways to throw it all away…..

José Mayeruggero

How ironic that I deleted most of my social media profiles some years ago losing the will, so to speak, to participate in what, at least to me was mindless trivia, trying to keep up with a world that was and is rotating at warp speed. And the disinformation, and division and sometimes even hatred they foment combined to give me all the reasons I needed to stay away. And, believe it or not, I am not one to share too much about my world at least not easily.

And yet here I am again. I have been hiding and I liked it that way. But there’s nothing like a Greek tragedy to fire up the vernacular again, to rejoin the cyber conversation by sharing my stories perhaps even raising a smile here and there. I do promise that I won’t peddle any conspiracies, or try to convince you of anything, or indeed to offend you, I will try and spread the love.
